Re: Toon

Despite being a cracking away day and night out i have never been a big fan of the toon, their fans are one of the most fickle bunch going.

Re: Astoria incident

You would like to think that footballers would have learnt by now, yeah, sure, go out and have a few shandies and a laugh but if there is any sign of trouble, steer clear, they see so many incidents over the years involving players. Whether they started it or someone else, surely the players know th...

Re: Pompey players on the lash after the game

Does anyone know... is the Astoria previously Route 66? I don't remember it from my Uni days but looks like it's where Route 66 used to be? That is the old Route 66 building - and whatever it was before that. Last time i went in there it was Martines :rofl Wasn’t Martines in guildhall square ? Ther...

Re: Mark Catlin stepping down as Chief Executive

He has been excellent for the club and this is clearly recognised by the Eisners with the move to another of their companies. Glad he is staying on in some role at PFC, will continue to be a great asset.

Re: Have we reason for optimism?

The events of this season have merely reinforced the fact that the club has been stagnating since the Tornante takeover and this season started to slide backwards. I feel Eisner has added nothing to our club that we couldn't have done under fan ownership. With respect, this is simply not accurate. ...

Re: Have we reason for optimism?

As long as we invest quickly and the club backs them properly i am very optimistic about the forthcoming season. I really hope a good clear out is a major wake up call to the players that remain.

Re: What went wrong Big Mac

I am wondering if the Cowley's have come in, tried to work with what they have got, seen what some of these players are really about and have thrown a few home truths into them ? There is clearly tension between them and Curtis, there were comments that they have been working with him on his attitu...

Re: What went wrong Big Mac

Fans complain that Curtis is too emotional. Fans complain that the players don't (seem to) care. Fans complain... But there are different emotions and they have positives and negatives, i have absolutely no problem with players being emotional and showing passion, but sometimes Curtis exhibits this...
