Re: 3-1 down.. not half time yet
Another stat is that we came from 3 : 0 down to draw and pressurised them well for the result. Work in progress, but far better than we've had for a few years !

Re: Back from the game - Crawley
A good effort Rubi, train or other wise . . seems Crawley just wanted a clean sheet, it'll happen - 4 away points from a possible 6 would've seemed like heaven last season !

Re: FIFA Corruption arrests
Best news for football as a whole for a very long time - let's hope the whole organisation is rebuilt on a true transparent basis.

Re: FIFA Corruption arrests
...Bladder... ...Septic... Have you any idea how childish this silly name-calling makes you appear? Why do you find it so hard to use his real name? I know you'll just think I'm having a pop at you, but I am genuinely baffled at why you do this. I'd appreciate an honest reply, rather than a rant. A...

Re: So much for tough gun laws......
Along the lines of this thread. Whilst in Orlando recently, there were gun crimes pretty much every day on the news, I think the population is around 250,000 - about the size of Portsmouth ! On another note, there was a tv channel that was devoted to shooting animals, hosted by a would be pretty, bl...

Re: KP Nuts
Possibly too early to sack Strauss, is it fully his decision anyway ? - or how many people have a say. Weight of public opinion about reinstatement of KP would put pressure on ECB to act. They should enlighten the public what these massive trust issues are, at present it just seems that he 'rocks th...

Re: Done Deal on Official Site.
It's a very relieved woo hoo from me too !
He can start early and sort the squad out now. I'm glad the board didn't take the cheaper options, he should be a great fit for where we find ourselves and where we want to go.

Re: KP Nuts
Good points MTB. KP was dropped because he was a bad influence on the team, yet England have been terrible since, whatever the problem was it wasn't all KP, as results have shown.

Re: KP Nuts
KP has immense belief and is sometimes hard to deal with - but he's not over awed by any bowling attack (leg spin perhaps) and the opposition are put under pressure when he comes in. I like the football analogy, strikers are often prima donnas, but a good one's worth putting up with and people will ...

Re: Two notable cricket performances
Wish I was watching KP's innings 318 no, 34 fours and 13 sixes ! - so far !!
I felt sorry for young Amir, influenced by senior players and probably leant on by dodgy characters in Pakistan to do the right thing - not easy.
