No-one seems to even blink about this. A few years ago, social media would have been full of it; today, virtually nothing.

Wasn't the main headline in the Times today!

Re: View From France

The 'Foundation of Hearts' refers to the scheme which is in operation at Hearts FC. They have 8,000 fans paying £15/month by direct debit. The suggestion was that such a scheme could potentially be copied (and perhaps should have been two or more years ago) at Pompey. Perhaps I should have said it w...

Re: 85 - is the magic number

This is your problem. Stevenage (4 pts + GD behind Pompey). Cambridge (A) Colchester (A) Carlisle (A) Yeovil (A) Barnet (H) Morecambe (H) Mansfield (H) Accrington (H) These are all winnable, especially given Stevenage's form. If you told me now that Stevenage would drop 5 points (W6, D1, L1), which...

Re: Trump

The thing is Trump found his 'Swedish story' by watching a Fox report on the TV, which involved footage from a documentary allegedly filled with doctored replies to questions. If its me or you, then fine post it or say it and get shot down. But for Gawd's sake Trump is the POTUS!! Surely he should ch...

Re: EoIn Doyle

I agree with you on Robinson and Davies. Ricky Holmes? Odd one, he wasn't showing anything like the form for us that he has shown since. With 20/20 hindsight, yes you're right, but based on his last few months with us, it was a reasonable decision to take. Ryan Taylor? No different to Michael Smith...

Re: Alistair Cook quits as England captain

Of course it will be Root, there is no other option he's about the only player sure of his place at the moment. Broad and Anderson can't come in to it as they have to be 'rested'.

Re: Lettuce shortage

I'm in Spain no shortage of salad leaf here, or courgette, so much it's in the reduced section! Anyway it's winter surely it's cabbage and swede and carrot and stew? You remember; Great British vegetables. Brexit now!!!

Re: Tennis

Djokovic out. Wide open for Murray..... trouble is..... his half of the draw is hard. Potential QF v Nishikori. SF v Wawrinka. or Roger Federer if he beats Nishikori Thats why I used 'potential' :thumb . Of course having named Wawrinka I must now include Evans. It ain't getting any easier for Sir A...

Re: NFL Play-offs 2017

Don't follow NFL that closely but watched the pack win last night. I got the impression that GB's defence was missing a few first choices. If that is true then will they have to have a ' shoot out' v. the Falcons?

I really feel that we should go flat out for the win, if we lose so be it. The chance to close right in on Plymouth and Carlisle is good to have us play safety first.

Re: Two up front

All goalkeepers make mistakes. I don't think forde has been that bad this season to be honest. Joint best goals conceded in the division I can't get to the games. So I'm giving my fivepenth. Ford may not be the greatest shot stopper but surely his 'chat' to his defenders has played a part recently....
