Ah choritzo and bacon with Portabellos, a marriage made in heaven........delicioso.
But.......that dish is screaming out for a sauce, Eltorro, and 'no', the creme fraiche doesn't cover it!
Made me sad now thinking of my beloved Playa Levante in Beni.

Re: Port Vale
Kamara AGAIN!! Almost open goal and he fluffs it!! Unfortunately he's going to stay with us for rest of season...sh*t!! Caused a lot of problems again though. Just missing the last bit of composure. But he's young and playing in league one. The ONLY problems he caused were to the detriment of his o...

Re: 3 Points.
My biggest worry at the moment is Morrell. I was at Exeter when he was benched and we looked flat and off the pace in the first half. When he came on we were galvansied with more energy and zest. If the injury he picked up yesterday is serious, I can't think of another player who could replace him.

Re: 3 Points.
Trouble is the positions are all a bit distorted because of the different number of games played. I expect our slip down the table will begin on Tuesday when Derby play Reading. And I hope Cheltenham give Bolton the same treatment they gave us. If everyone wins their games in hand over us, the table...

Re: Mentality - The Biggest Contributory Factor?
The return of KFC to Man City yesterday shows that one or two good signings can really turn things around. We all want to go up. I don’t want to spend another year in League One. I’ve always been one to say that you should trust the long term plan and a good team takes more than one window / season...

Re: Mentality - The Biggest Contributory Factor?
Good points. They just look tired to me - mentally and physically. Confidence has evaporated and only Pack still seems to have the same drive. This is where managers earn their crust. How do you lift a side short on ideas and confidence. Mousinho has done all the coaching badges but has he got the m...

Cowley goes to Colchester
Danny Cowley has taken on a relegation battle at the bottom of League Two for his next managerial role.
Good luck to him. I think he'll steer them clear of danger and build a decent side.
We can thank him for some top signings including Colby Bishop and Joe Morrell.

Re: Portsmouth Vs Southampton - Who has the better history?
Saints beat us hands down for seasons in the top flight.
We beat them hands down for winning things.
The extraordinary fact is that they have not managed to win more things given their many years in the top tier.

Re: Colby's comments
I was surprised when I heard and it has obviously upset Colby. I read that he said that the abuse was coming from people online so perhaps the abuse was vile. Sad that people feel it is ok to contact players this way. Looking for the silver lining here - and not justifying or excusing in any way an...

Re: Colby's comments
Thing is he says he'll do his talking on the pitch........but then continues with a long diatribe of complaints!
Yes, there have been observations about his dip in form but no-one has ever questioned his workrate so I thought 'slander' was a bit strong.
