Re: How come Wan Bissaka never gets an England call up?
He's good defensively in 1-on-1s but is positioning isn't great and going forward doesn't offer as much as other modern full-backs. Plus, as others have said, there are three other RBs who are, or close to, world class.

Re: New hand ball laws
The difference with tennis, cricket and American football vs football/soccer, is there are fewer breaks in play in the latter to use challenges. In football, there needs to be an active decision to challenge, rather than not making a decision as challenges could be used tactically to break up play.

Re: FA Cup First Round
Great result for me now I live in York. Only game closer would have been York City.
Hopefully there will be enough tickets for away fans.

Re: Doncaster
How did we play? Not very well. Better than the last time i saw the team vs Sunderland, but still not great as the stats show. The team found it very hard to hold on to the ball and the lack of pace and creativity is reflected in the lack of chances created. Harness and Evans lacked dynamism and wh...

Re: The Doom & Gloom Cafe
How the hell do you spend the summer signing players, have a pre-season, and still be experimenting with the team this far into the season?

Re: Set Piece Delivery
I was there and both fullbacks were woeful. Walkes, as noted giving the ball away, and Brown’s set pieces pissed off players and fans alike. Both looked flat footed and both were sloppy.
McCrorie was brighter when he came on.
Harness offered much much more than Curtis who was barely in the game.

Re: vs Sunderland (1st leg)
I was at the game. The first time I’ve Pompey live for ages (I was away in Spain for the game at SoL in April) so bear with me. Dull game overall with neither side creating much. We had no creativity in the midfield but Naylor was really solid at the base. Evans offered little and his lack of pace r...

Re: Record numbers descend on Wembley
"Only Barcelona's 2-0 win against city neighbours Espanyol in the Spanish top flight on Saturday drew a larger crowd across Europe this weekend, with 92,795 in attendance at the Nou Camp."

Re: Brexit
Well Labour have stated categorically that the will vote down ANY deal that is put forward and then push for a general election. Sorry but that's not democracy that's just labour trying to get back in power by any means necessary. I voted to stay and still think that's the best option, however that...

Re: Brexit
Lots of ifs and clearly written by a remainer, assuming you can't possibly be wrong and that those scenarios have to occur. In the end, nobody knows. If it was clear and obvious, then the so called experts would all agree - which they don't. You've summed up the biggest problem with having no secon...

Re: Brexit
For the 'full stoppers', how bad an impact would Brexit have to make on the economy and society for you change your mind? If there were a million job losses? Food shortages? Problems flying to and from Europe? Shortages of medicine? Less collaboration in national defence? A recession?

Re: UEFA show bias again
Lifestyle? The rainbow is synonymous with the LGBT (I think they've added extra letters now) lifestyle and they refer to the way they live in that ilk. Being gay isn't a lifestyle. Neither is being killed in a war you were forced to fight in. Well, yes. My point wasn't about UEFA, just to correct U...
