Re: JUST HOW OLD IS KANU REALLY?

He's between 50 and 52.

Source? - girl grew up in same village as him. She's the same age as me (47 turning 48), and he was about 4 years older.

Bloimey Bournemouth...

Firstly a great signing in our ex-#2 Asmir Begovic (who surprised me by going to Chelsea at the same time as Courtois in the first place! - esp. when United needed a keeper) Still one of the best keepers in the Prem, even if he *did seem* to have a bit of a iffy game every other time he finally did ...

Re: Next manager

If you're looking at 'long-term' stats on Wikipedia, for any manager (excluding those say in the top 6 of the Prem - and the usual suspects), then around or over 45% is a pretty successful manager with a decent win ratio.

Re: Mason Mount

Dad is Tony Mount - well known local footballer in 80's. His lad was only 6 & 7 when 'attracted' interest. Spoke to both Pompey & Chelsea. "Blown away" by the facilities that the latter had, and also knew he'd be playing with many more gifted kids - just no contest. I dunno of the ...

Kenny's team will be blazering a trail in League 1. Button it, we've got King Kenny. We thought Cook was staying butwe'ed underestimated his need for cash & pies.

Re: Pomp 'n' circumstance - some sad news..

I know Scott McGarvey (Wally) - was up there that night, has told me about it. I think he said PnC was there first, and when Milkins turned up - he (PnC) introduced himself by saying "I..am..your...nemesis" (!) :D Monoloco, Petersfield. Circa 2009/10? (Neil - FKA) laid on some nice bottled...

Re: Evans signs new deal

A player who definitely deserves reward for his efforts last season. Sign Evans, lose Stevens, so no proper, decent FBs on the team. Don't sign Doyle. I'd love to read Cook's mind, but I am more and more thinking 3-4-3 for next season. S'funny... I've been thinking the same thing. I know we're not ...

Re: New kit

Last year of Sondico (thank Gawd!). Still will be jobsite too (last year also, ATM). Kits have been voted upon, but can't remember (but would've expected that they did!), whether the vote results were announced.

Re: Think i joined a Syndicate on here but cant the details.

'pompeyloyal' (Steve McL?) posted quite a few times on here, when he was 'shaking the bucket' for extra £20's in (or anything) just to get further shares. Think that's where the confusion has arisen. To be fair, it was a lot of shares he managed to get to. There was also Tom Dearie (IIRC) who had va...

Re: Stefanovic

When the article was first posted (might've been elsewhere) they definitely credited 'our' Dejan Stefanovic ("-ex Portsmouth & Sheff Weds defender), but must've been amended - different guy completely.

Re: Quick (mini - edit - maybe not) BFTG

KEEP THE SHEFFIELD TWO! (Vital, even if we have to sacrifice Tubbs). I think trying to get either permanently is too much of an ask, and McNulty (who seems to have burnt his Blades bridges), could get picked up by somebody else - will be too pricey for us - he can play Championship *easy*. Ok, got a...
