Re: Danny Cowley
My wife met Chris Barrie many moons ago. Apparently decent down to earth guy.

Re: Danny Cowley
I think I agree with all of that. Man management and getting the best of your players is a massive part and I’m not sure being couched by Mr Brittas is conducive to that lol.

Re: Danny Cowley
I am genuinely sad it didn't work out for Cowley as he's a class act but there's not much sentiment in football these days and we wouldn't be where we are without him moving on. I wish him all the best for the future as I do everyone who puts their heart and soul into our club.

Re: Sean Raggett
Most managers want their own men in the team and generally replace their predecessor's incumbants over time. In our case the players from the Cowley era have been replaced by better players. Presently I can only think of Colby Bishop as the only regular surviving player from the previous era, but h...

Re: Sean Raggett
I wasn't aware of that. Thanks
For some reason I always thought he was Pompey born and bred. No idea why I felt that tbh.

Deffo agree with likening him to Linvoy. Unsung hero - never complains and always happy to put a shift in.

Re: New Sky contract
All teams featuring 24 times a season is a lot more than I expected. Hopefully we will know when these games are in plenty of notice!

Really liked the gold TY away shirt in the Championship title winning season. Also the Goodmans home top from the early/mid 90s which was my first Pompey shirt. Like Sam, I also quite like the current shirt too. As for my favourite shites, probably best to draw a veil over that one :D I think I sti...

Personally I like the current shirt. I know some criticize Nike for being a bit off the shelf which they are but I'm always happy to walk around wearing Nike. If not Nike who would you like to see produce our shirts for next season? I really liked the old Canterbury ones we had. They had some decent...
