Re: Going Up? What Then?

I’m not giving a thought to the Championship. Just hope my old nerves hold up during the next few weeks. 😀😀

Re: Eisner interview

We are fortunate to have him as an owner. Comes across as a decent guy who knows exactly what he’s doing. Interesting dig at social media.

Ticket Exchange

Must be done by midnight on the day before the match.

Cannot get there today and thought I could use the ticket exchange system. Always learning something every day. 😂😂

Re: Experiences of Hooliganism (Pompey or Otherwise)

I was at most games throughout the 50s and until I left the area in 1966. Throughout that time I simply do not recall witnessing any significant crowd trouble. And it has seemed quite peaceful to me since returning to watch more matches in the last 20 years or so. Mind you, my wife tells me I’m not ...

Re: Leyton Orient

First match for nearly three years after illness and heart surgery. Just pleased to be there. What struck me was how small some of our players are. I thought some of the mascots had stayed too long on the pitch before I realised who they were. As for the match. That’s football. Orient fully deserved...

Re: Leyton Orient

Looking forward to being at my first match for a very long time. First use of my new seat in NSL Block F Row Y Seat122. And first trip from Guildford avoiding the need for standing around at Southampton Station.

Re: Colby's comments

Negative and even abusive comments go with the job of anyone involved in professional sport. It’s pointless making a public response. It gives critics the chance to create even more pressure. Must be something addressed by all sports psychologists available to teams these days.

Re: Happy New Year.

Happy new year from Guildford. Health issues have kept me away from FP for far too long. I’m hoping to be up to the trip on the 13th. I’m really looking forward to the first time in years not having to change trains at Southampton. It’s a direct route in less than an hour from here. I’ll be interest...
