I well remember him breaking his leg at FP, as I am sure does the referee who, amazingly, booked him as he lay on the ground with a broken leg. Fair play, he was attempting to do the same thing to Michael Doyle. The main point is, have we forgiven him for it? I suspect so long as he runs around a l...

Can’t believe the Hermanator has gone there, would love to see him at FP in some capacity. Was fortunate enough to have a beer with him after the wembley final in our hotel and he is still mad Pompey.

Re: So What Now Mr Jacket?

I actually think that we have a decent squad of players, apart from maybe a midfield general. They just need to start playing up to their potential, and it is very clear that they are not doing so at present. Totally agree, look at players like marquis, Curtis, pitman and to an extent even close, j...

Re: So What Now Mr Jacket?

Up until now I have not really been a Jacket out person, I am honestly still on the fence but there is something seriously wrong at the club at the moment. Whether that is him having lost the dressing room or something else I don’t know, but something is not right at all. If the owners are even con...

Re: How blue are you?

My original post about "hardcore" was in agent provacatuer mode but a Pompey Match in Feb 1985 remains as a major life event in my mind. At the time I lived in Arundel, West Sussex but we considered ourselves to be a Pompey supporting town with Brighton being the largest competing team at...

Re: How blue are you?
