Re: Bristol City Friendly
Just had a look at the subs, and to be honest I would have been quite happy if most of them were playing from the start.

Re: Bristol City Friendly
I thought that he was losing pace last year, which I suppose is inevitable. He just has to use his experience to get round it, and try not to get caught on the ball.jam tomorrow wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 2:42 pm City forum really critical of Pack reckon he is slower than ever

Re: RIP Trevor Francis
Wonderful player. Possibly could have been even more wonderful if he had not been made to play when injured - sadly not uncommon in those days.
RIP and thanks for the memories.

Re: Ticket sales
Is that 14,300 disillusioned people, I don`t think so. More like nearly fourteen and a half thousand excited at what is happening at Fratton Park! Or possibly people like myself and family (we've added a fourth season ticket for my grandson this season) who will support the team come what may as lo...

It will be interesting to see who plays in each half, and what the formation is this evening. Any chance of a BFTG ET?

One of the joys of watching Pompey for me is seeing young players come in and develop, and just occasionally become a real star. Good luck Jack.

Re: Signing number 6!
I see that in his first interview Stevenson mentioned that he was injured for the last 2 months of last season, so was not available for Ferguson to pick.

Re: Zak Swanson
If this turns out to be true and we sell Zac, some may view this as a backward step. Is he not exactly the type of player we should be looking at buying and developing the team around? I thought he showed a lot of potential last season until he got injured. I can only see him improving and surpassi...

Re: Bernard
Quoted in the snooze that he’s leaving Man U at the end of the season Wonder if we really would have a chance of signing him permanently as I think he’s just what we need in our back 4 Couldn't agree more. I thought that he was excellent yesterday along with Towler. They are both young and will mak...

Pleased to see Pigott back at no 10. I doubt that either Lane or Jacobs are okay for the whole game and would hope to see them replace Dale and Hackett later at some point.
