This website to support stadium...

Post by jezzurp »

Im still 100% up for it... but PS never replied to email asking for images and advice on what would be helpful to the bid.

Now I know hes been on holiday (although i did send before). Should I just wait a wee bit longer to give him a chance to give input, or should we crack on?

I dont wanna let this thing slip, and keen to get on with it, but i feel imput from the club in terms of advising the specific help that they would need could make our effort a little more effective?

ps - anyone else got high res images?

The idea is to create a website where people in favour of the stadium can obtain information on how to express their support.

It would have addresses of people to write to and sample letters to make it really easy.
It might also have information about the new stadium, past attempts, why the stadium matters to portsmouth as a whole, rebuttals against the naysayers, etc
I can't be bothered anymore...

I think this is the best idea ever. In all seriousness, they should knight the bl**dy genius who thought if it.

We could also start a petition on the No.10 e-petition site and link it to the campaign website.

I have a lot on today (3hr lunch down the beach with the Uber-goddess and our Swedish lawyeress yesterday, ooooh mumma! No chance of any work being done after that.) but if there is someone who can eloquently write up the front page...?

Back end is my thing - so to speak. I mainly design data warehouses and databases. Lots of coding experience. For me and websites, I find the boring bit the eye candy. If you need help in designing the back end stuff; drop me a line :) You are welcome to the css, flash, colours, layout etc.

Oh yes, I can host it too :)

Peter Storrie [PeterStorrie@pompeyfc.co.uk] is the one that was on his last reply to me. But don't forget he's on holiday this week.

Rubi, do you have your own IPS TAG?

I've registered supportpfcstadium.co.uk and supportpfcstadium.org.uk which I'm happy to transfer over to you. If not then let me know if you want to host the DNS or to give me an ip address for the A records.
