3D v Non 3D - is it worth it?

They also offer a free 5 yr guarantee on most sets & are usually cheaper. Customer Service there is brilliant too.

Richer are good but JL will price match, never had to take anything back to RS but have with JL and their customer service is second to none.

RS price match as well Mate if they need to but have a look @ JL online, select a particular TV & then check it on the RS website. I've yet to find JL cheaper.

Cheaper isn't always better...esp when it comes to post sales customer service where JL have a well earned reputation to keep.

I've read plenty enough about RS customer service to be a shade wary

I'm not even convinced about the benefits of a Smart TV. I've had one for three years and never use the apps, I use my Note3 for sofa-based internetting and I use Sky for on-demand viewing.

Are Smart TVs as doomed as 3D TVs?
