Why? That's a serious question, by the way. If he could swap just 10% of his rancour for humour, I'd understand it, but his posts consistently lack any warmth whatsoever. I suspect he is happier when we lose than he is when his own team wins.
Also, there are people who no longer visit here due to his bile, so he's had a detrimental effect on this site. Oh, but I forgot - he's a lovely bloke in real life. Yawn.

Maybe I just "get" him, see my response to his ticker-tape post. I certainly think some of his posts have been OTT, and that has influenced people's perceptions of later posts.
