Behind the Castle
Hey guys,
Have been on here previously but thought it time to make a reappearance. Great to see such positive posting on here at the mo. Glad to see the club having a more positive end to what has been a season of ups and downs.
I know many of you are music fans so thought i would share this little project I have going in Sherborne in Dorset.
www.behindthecastle.co.uk - One day music festival with The Levellers, Newton Faulkner, Seth Lakeman, Paul Brady, Cara Dillon and more.
would be great to see a few fellow blues there on the day and if you know anyone that might be interested it would be fantastic if you could spread the word.
Any questions fire away!

The Levellers! Sherborne! I'm in. Will try and round up a few others miscreants as well.

I would absolutely come to this as I love all those performers and have seen most of them more than once - except for the small matter of England v Italy at 11pm. Will they have it on a big screen? That would be superb!

A bit of shameless self-promotion (well almost self), but got any room for one more band? They are doing quite a few festivals this year, including Boom Town and Glasto, so they are well up for this sort of thing.

Shame Jasper but Sundays for this sort of thing don't really work!
I hope it will be running for years to come so maybe next time?
In the mean while if any of you can get over the to fb page and give it a like or a share it would be much appreciated.

Hope it is a success and depending on reports of posters on here , we WILL be there next year
I am guessing Saints fans ARE welcome

I won't be there, I'm afraid. I'm playing in the musical metropolis of Bishops Waltham on the 14th.
My rider is - I must be home in time for the England KO.
Maybe next year.

Shanty at Boomtown Rubes? Great, my (eldest) daughter goes every year, will be sure that she keeps an eye out for them, (always seems to have a great time).RubiconCSL wrote:A bit of shameless self-promotion (well almost self), but got any room for one more band? CROISSANT NEUF, Friday morning... Might try and nip along to that if I'm in any fit state following Sasha the night before.RubiconCSL wrote:A bit of shameless self-promotion (well almost self), but got any room for one more band?
