Must admit I was worried with so many changes - but I bow to AA of course !Chopper Dave wrote:Interesting bit of squad rotation. 6 changes from the Bristol game.
Super, super Auf, super, super Auf (repeat) - super Andy Awford - I haven't tempted fate have I ?

Away against a team with everything to play for, on a decent run themselves and who had an extra day's rest that is an impressive result.
Both Frankie Burrows and Tony Barton had great end of season spells in the early 90s, leading Pompey away from relegation. I think Awfords short and sweet stint has eclipsed them. PUP.

Quite amazing set of results by AA, these aren't flukes though - I keep thinking 'how S-ite was Richie Barker and how good is AA !'Pompey Gary wrote:Away against a team with everything to play for, on a decent run themselves and who had an extra day's rest that is an impressive result.
