Why?

Marriage is a union between two people. All these elaborate forced-fun boll*x videos are probably why divorce rates are through the roof. I don't think I'd do a jig if I won £100m on the Euromillions so I sure as hell am not doing it on front of a poor captive audience of friends and family who are obliged to be there for MY SPECIAL DAY dammit.

Someone needs to raise the bar and etch "WILL YOU MARRY ME" on the moon with a frickin laser then maybe these oh-so-crazy dweebs will go back to shuffling paperwork and devolve back into the soulless yes men they really are.
I am me, the universe and you.

What happened to tradition ?

In the past being the Best Man consisted of just organising the stag night, embarrassing your mate during the speech and, attempting to get off with the Bridesmaids. Now it seems you have to prance around like an extra from bleedin' Glee.

Where's the Grumpy Old Git smiley ?

If I etched anything on to the moon with a laser it would probably be "Not Cheese".

...or "Airline pilots beware of lasers".

Pompski - you've borne the mantle of grumpy ol' git for far too long.

Nice bit of fun, imho.

Must've taken hours and hours of rehearsal.

Not my style, however - simple registry office job for me and would've avoided that if I could....

.... but if you're extrovert then why not do something daft...

Crikey - that was a bit special. If I'd been his mother, I'd be bawling my eyes out. He's a bit of a show off though!

This wedding lark is getting totally out of hand. My son is having to fly back to the UK for one of his best mates weddings (fair enough) but then they fly to Krakow for the stag party - and then all fly the next weekend to the South of France for the wedding. Costing him a feckin' fortune. I think it's unreasonable to expect friends to do all that.
