Rumour is a terrorist attack on the tube, somewhere near the West End, imminently.
A fake mass text was sent around last night warning Londoners to stay off the tube system today and there has been a big increase in security cameras installed around the West End in the last few days.

"Co-incidentally", most of the underground at Paddington late this morning was shut due to "a points failure".
