4th ODI England v India

Post by JenniTalia »

England loose the toss and are put in.

Currently 16 for 2 after 5 overs with both Cook and Hales dismissed

23 for 3 after 8 overs. Ballance joins Cook and Hales back in the pavillion.

At least we have the Australia v South Africa ODI to keep an eye on for some decent cricket.

Comment from an Aussie fan on Cricinfo and Australia are 170 for 4 after 39 overs!!

DT: "The only consolation for an Australian fan is that England are doing worse."

I don't know - we didn't lose to Zimbabwe three days ago.

All out for 206 in our last over.

Hope the bowlers are on better form than the batsmen (except Moeen Ali who hit 67)

India 127 without loss after 21 overs - can they get the remaining 80 runs to win this series without losing a wicket?

India win by 9 wickets with 19.3 overs to spare and doing it in style with a six to boot. What an embarrassment this England team are in these ODIs.

Maybe its for the best with the WC coming up soon. Hopefully it will concentrate minds & make the selectors realize that we need one day specialist players, not a fair few Test players.

Could we not just field the Ladies team instead?

Some might argue we just did!
