It would appear that the erstwhile owner of land in Southsea has flogged it (or leased it, I s'pose) to McCarthy & Stone for another sheltered housing block.

McCarthy and Stone applied for planning permission a little while back and their purchase of the land was conditional on getting planning permission for sheltered flats. So presumably that's been approved.
Watching wheels spin and dust settle.
