Ahaha!
I get it Pompey 1985, this is reverse psychology isn't it. You've probably backed Pompey to win.
Or
You are a tad dyslexic and you meant to write 2-0. :)

After such an emphatic away win it wouldn't surprise me if Pompey screw up.

Save the mid week win for me a Northampton.

I saw the away fixture the other month, they were truly awful and I know the so score line said differently but I have no idea how they won. With confidence we should easily beat them.

So

3-1

Gonna stick with my la-la-league prediction from a while back: 3-0 to Pompey.

This game is probably the most important of the season. I still think we are fragile and that confidence will be easily lost if we start playing badly, or go an early goal down. The Faithful will also be expecting a goal fest and could jump on the boo-boys bandwagon if we concede or play poor football. So if we win and win well then I feel the run will continue and we get close (but not into the playoffs). If we scrape the win then it proves we have steel in the team. If we loose then the doubts of a one hit wonder will rise and the panic will return.
For me a shaky at times performance with more highs than normal but also some dross and a bit of nail-biting. The score will look like a comfortable 2-0 win but the reality will be a bit closer.
So 2-0.

1-1.

I am afraid that the expectations of the home fans are going to be too high. Wallace, Passley and Butler were out on their feet at the end of the Cambridge game, and Taylor, Dunne and Hollands also put in good shifts (the last two before being subbed). I don't think they have had enough recovery time to play at that intensity again. In a system that relies on the wing-backs and the attacking midfielder doing a lot of work, a drop in contribution from those three will really hurt us. Hoping that the defence will be tight and we can sneak a 1-0, but I expect Tranmere to also score.

I will happily be wrong about all of that!

Tranmere will have seen that scoreline at Cambridge.

You'd expect them to be cagey at first so I'm not expecting a high-scoring game.

2-1 to the good guys.

Well, I got the three for us right; just the 2 they got that scuppered my prediction.
