Re: Cricket
Great game that was, what is so noticeable is how most of the teams have really gone for it with the bat...except England. I feel we need a completely different mentality, tactics & above all else players to utilize the aforementioned.

Re: Cricket
Bit of an anti climax, shame really. Key wicket was McCullum going for a duck. I bet I'm not the only one that wanted NZ to win.

Re: Cricket
I'll be amazed if anyone notices he's gone.
As for the Windies warm-up games, is this possibly worst mismatching of opposition in professional cricket? St Kitts and Nevis are so bad/inexperienced, we've actually loaned them Trott, Ballance and Bairstow just to give our bowlers a decent challenge.

It's not the fact he has gone , it's the reason !!!

Re: Cricket
I wonder if Wisden's damning report today helped him on his way.

Its bang on the money for me, I never took Downton for the sort of person who'd be so far removed from the real world but thats exactly what happened.
I like Vaughan's comments about 1 day international cricket on that link, absolutely spot on. The rest of the world have moved on & we've regressed badly.
