34-3 now. Ballance out. Absolutely zero momentum in the innings thus far & our batsmen look scared, wtf is going on with the mindset in England cricket atm. Really poor stuff, we can only hope to post 200 & Jimmy & Co. do the business.

Especially when you consider that the Windies were being panned earlier for electing not to go in on such a good wicket ! If the general assessment is that the wicket is a good batting wicket then England must be even poorer than normal !

And let's face it, our 'normal' is pretty poor atm.

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.....errr...English cricket.

Paraphrasing Bob Willis " Englands top 3 batsmen are hardly likely to scare the bowlers, they're solid but there's no real star quality"
He's not talking about someone smashing it all over the place, he's talking about someone who can get that scoreboard ticking over with some flourishes along the way. This is hard watching tbh, we really look like we've been hypnotized into a state of complete doubt.
I hope we can push on & play more freely because I really fear this summer could be very very difficult. Everyone's on about the Aussies, well we've got a very up & coming NZ team first who on paper could well turn us over.
Cmon England.

I really think our very own James Vince would make a batsman opponents would fear.....and a captain, too.

49-3 @ lunch. I think Moores & Cook really need to be very motivational in the lunch break, we dont need to be gung ho but we need to stop this negative attitude that is currently pervading our batters.

Looking more positive since lunch, 71-3 now. As long as they concentrate & keep the scoreboard ticking over they could yet have a good day.

Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!
