The PST - why it's more relevant now than ever
Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I was on here.
After the recent events in the PST and in advance of the open meeting, I've started a blog to post my thoughts and hopefully start a discussion on what the future of the PST should be - its aims and its values. IF you're interested then please have a read.

Re: The PST - why it's more relevant now than ever
The first thing the Trust needs to do is to send reminders when people's membership runs out - people are naturally apathetic and that apathy must be countered. I bought membership for a good few people (Pompey people who aren't really football fans) and I suspect that not one of them is aware that their membership has expired. They then need to get the membership up to match the average crowd at Fratton Park, at the very least.
I get quite cross at people who can't be bothered to join the Trust yet happily point out its faults.

Your thoughts are similar to my own. In my next blog I'll talk about what the trust could become and I do believe that there is no reason why we shouldn't have more than 10,000 members, I'd aim even higher over the long term.
It's the lack of a vision that I believe hinders member growth along with the administrative cock-ups on renewals that you mention. The Trust has over 1,000 ex-members. How many of those are due to poor admin rather than conscious decisions to leave?

Gulp!
I might be one of those ex-members. How do I find out from my armchair here?

Best method is probably to email the membership secretary Steve Hatton on members@pompeytrust.comblue architect wrote:Gulp!

Or use the contact page on the website:-
http://www.pompeytrust.com/contact
Either way, please ask them why you weren't asked to renew. The more people ask this question, the more they might do something. Maybe!

I must confess my membership has lapsed too. But I get regular mails from the Trust reminding me of this fact. I would have assumed everyone else in the same boat did too.
