Mid: Dunne, Hollands, Atangana, Barcham, Close
St: Tubbs, Westcarr, Chaplin, Taylor (tbc)
I would assume we need at least 3 defenders if not 4. The same in midfield too, plus another striker or two if Taylor departs.
Amended that for you.
13 confirmed but even those 13 might not all be here by Aug.

None if that really surprised me. Maybe Butler and Devera.
Going to be a busy summer.

Most likely he is going.
Jed scored 14 League goals, followed by Taylor and Tubbs with 9 goals. So 44% of our league goals are departing the club.

This is heartening news in that Cook has identified the two players (three if you include young Chaplin) who I feel have real potential. Either someone with a good eye (i.e. agrees with me!) has been advising Cook, or he has judged well on video evidence.
The Fogden decision was a medical one, surely?
I honestly don't see why so many people rate Butler. He's not a full-back, he's not a wing-back, what is he? You can't build a career on just a good left foot.
I suspect Cook would like to have given Taylor a chance, but would only risk a one year contract due to his injury record.

Yes....Butler and Devera were decent, I thought.
And actually I'm glad to see Taylor go.
A decent enough player but you do have to build your side around him to get the best from him and he just isn't that good to warrant doing that.
Jed Wallace IS that good....but unlikely to stay. Shame but it'll force the other players to step up a bit.

Don't have a problem with any of this, including the changes on the coaching side.
Even from afar, it's pretty obvious that the whole set-up needed a good, solid kick up the ar$e, so all power to Mr Cook's boot. I think I'm going to like him......

If we manage to get Jimmy Ryan him and dunne would make a formidable central midfield pairing.
