I wouldn't trust our football authorities any further than I could throw 'em!

The way the Prem ignored their rules about points deduction for ineligible players (Tevez) to save Wet Spam from relegation at the expense of Sheffield United is an example of corruption that is every bit endemic here as it is at FIFA.

That Brazilian woman (?) was right when she said that more than just FIFA need to be investigated and re-structured.

More FIFA stuff off to the Swiss authorities for investigation into corruption.

Since Sepp Blatter is Swiss I wonder how hard they'll try to find irregularities in the process that saw Qatar and Russia awarded World Cups? They may decide to ensure that one of their own countrymen comes out smelling of roses.

He's not going!

Fifa president Sepp Blatter will not travel to Canada for the final of the Women's World Cup on Sunday for "personal reasons".

Mmm. Funny, that. Has he got a bit of lawn that urgently needs mowing or something?

For 'lawn', read 'documents' and 'mowing', read 'shredding'.
