Better....but still all white looks ok.

Can't they just project colours onto the thing with lasers or something rather than paint it? Oh, all right...perhaps a bit tricky...

Why not a thin mesh sail with the logo on as with tennis rackets?

Look, just put me in charge of everything. I'm clearly he only one with a freaking clue.

Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower: Painting work delayed.
A council spokeswoman said transporting supplies of blue paint from Lancashire was taking longer than expected.

Not only tricky EG but impossible! Projected images and lasers only work when the ambient light level is low - in other words at night. I suspect that the Emirates deal was made that entailed the use of the Spinnaker as an advertising medium 24/7 - certainly once the painting has been completed, it could be enhanced by lasers and projected images which could react to low ambient light levels and switch on/off automatically. If anyone from Portsmouth City Council wants to contact me, I can tell them how it's done......

Back when they painted the tower white originally, didn't they spend a shed load of money on a special white paint that was supposed to be as slippery as a slippery thing on a slippy day to prevent dirt and anything else sticking to it, so they didn't have to paint it again ?

Just saying......

One hundred litres of unwanted red paint that was due to be used on Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower has been given away to causes in Hampshire.
