New Channel 5 football programme
There's a new Ch 5 programme starting at 9pm on Saturday August 8th.
Portsmouth, Fulham and Barnsley feature in Channel 5's Football League Tonight trailer below.
It's hosted by Kelly Cates and George Riley (who has an uncanny resemblance to film star Jude Law).

Re: New Channel 5 football programme
If I recall correctly, Channel 5 took over the contract from the BBC to show highlights of the lower divisions from the start of the coming 15/16 season. The trailer will therefore be for this new programme.
Probably good in my opinion that it is now being broadcast rather earlier in the evening: the BBC programme starting around midnight was was always timed far too late for reasonable viewing.

Have a look at the new trailer for the programme - quite a surprise for some Pompey fans!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/0JivAxWTc3k - perhaps someone can actually post the video?

Re: New Channel 5 football programme
Pompey fans were filmed by Channel 5 playing another pub team in five-a-side football. Then one of opposing team gets injured and whole pub team is replaced by a new surprise five man team..........past memories wrote:I`m scratching my head over this post.Milton End wrote:Have a look at the new trailer for the programme - quite a surprise for some Pompey fans!

Have a look at the News PFC website if you still haven't worked it out! There's also an interview with Paul Robinson - now there's a clue - about the filming on the main PFC website.

I was scratching my head, because the video you refer to, was in the first post that started this thread. So why you should ask for it to be embedded again I`ll not know.

Fair enough. For technical reasons, I was unable to access the orignal video.past memories wrote:I was scratching my head, because the video you refer to, was in the first post that started this thread. So why you should ask for it to be embedded again I`ll not know.
Perhaps next time, it would have been better if you had explained why you were puzzled.
