Re: Ashes 3rd Test
Indeed, it was for 8.
And now 9, as Starc is Buttler's third catch of the day, off Broad.
Budgie-botherers now 119-9 off 33.3 overs.

Re: Ashes 3rd Test
Fans giving it the "easy easy" chant. I fear that might be misplaced.

Absolutely. You can guarantee Mitchell Johnson is psyching himself up right now. And the Edgbaston Facilities Manager will need to replace some lockers...Lost in Transportation wrote:Fans giving it the "easy easy" chant. I fear that might be misplaced.

Jimmy finishes it off, bowling Lyon for 11. 136 all out.
I hope Adam Lyth has grown a pair in the last week or so. Johnson is going to be an unhappy little bunny.

And so it begins. Lyth goes for 10. 19-1.

Listening to TMS, no Warwickshire batman has scored a test century at Edgbaston. Closest was Brian Lara with 95.

Re: Ashes 3rd Test
That's unlucky - Cook hit the ball into the short leg and it stuck. Cook 34 England 76-2.

Re: Ashes 3rd Test
An absolutely ridiculous catch by Voges. Poor Cook, as unlucky as it gets. Middled it right into Voges' breadbasket at short leg. He didn't know anything about it, and was pretty much taking evasive action. Managed to effectively catch it without laying a hand on it...

Just 3 behind with 7 wickets intact, almost perfect days cricket. Just a shame that Bell had a rush of blood. Breathless days cricket though, Anderson was sublime & on the box with the replays you could see the thought process & breathtaking skill. If England can push on then its feasible the aussies could be staring down the barrel by lunch.
