Holy sheet - maybe we do have a decent team at last. Pulled that one out of the bag!

Game over. The last goal was apparently Stockley, assisted by Webster.
Our possession percentage was 61 for the game and I believe that it actually went up slightly while we had 10 men.
All our other stats look good - how did we manage to go 3 - 0 down?

At the end of the day the only stat ( fact ) that counts is we drew.
Expect Snooze to produce banner headline telling us not to " Panic "
Calm down.
Work in progress.

Another stat is that we came from 3 : 0 down to draw and pressurised them well for the result. Work in progress, but far better than we've had for a few years !
Gaydamack's wonderful millions - well it did seem too good to be true !

Shocking defending, if I may be permitted the indulgence of two words for it. If I'd been a Pompey defender, I wouldn't have had the ****** to go to the dressing room at half time - I'd have stayed on the pitch with the reserves rather than hear what Paul Cook had to say. I'm looking forward to Selsey's BFTM report.Berkshire Blue wrote:Game over. The last goal was apparently Stockley, assisted by Webster.

Having said that, though, it was a fabulous match to witness, just for the comeback. A fair few "fans" near us stomped off in a sulk after the third goal and missed the drama. Knobs! the match ends when the ref blows two long blasts on the whistle!

Where were you sitting dj?<dj.> wrote: Having said that, though, it was a fabulous match to witness, just for the comeback. A fair few "fans" near us stomped off in a sulk after the third goal and missed the drama. Knobs! the match ends when the ref blows two long blasts on the whistle!
About half a dozen 'fans' got up and left down at the front in the north stand lower near the half way line. One of the season ticket holders who sits near me (and is a complete Neanderthal (hope it's not you ) ) got up and said to one of them that people like them were not welcome at Fratton.
As you say, why oh why would you leave a game after 35 minutes? I have to say when we went 3-0 down I still thought we'd get something from the game the way it was panning out as we had so much possession. As they were pressing late on I also remember thinking that if we'd gone 4-2 down at that point it would have been a different matter!

NSL B135/6, so about 10yds Milton side of the half way line. I didn't hear your bloke and it definitely wasn't me. There are a few knobs near us, but also some really sensible and knowledgeable fans (of which I like to think I'm one!)
