Do you have a lucky pair of socks?

Post by Pompey Wales »

Or anything else. I had my old lucky " Nifty at 50" socks on for the Bristol Rovers game, but took them off just before the England v Wales rugby game. Wish I'd left them on.

To be honest, your wearing, of socks, or not is unlikely to have changed the result!

Playing cricket, my left pad goes on first. Which of course, doesn't make a blind bit of difference. However, I did bat with mismatched gloves once last year, and made my top score of the season. So I may have to introduce that one...

I take it the lucky socks were in the wash last night?

Hi Rubi,

Brought them with me from Wales but forgot to put them on. The defeat is my fault.

I had a pair of wonderfully lucky white socks to go with my lucky white pants in the 2002-3 season, but sadly they wore out and I've never been able to replace them.
