Do you have a lucky pair of socks?
Or anything else. I had my old lucky " Nifty at 50" socks on for the Bristol Rovers game, but took them off just before the England v Wales rugby game. Wish I'd left them on.

To be honest, your wearing, of socks, or not is unlikely to have changed the result!Pompey Wales wrote:Or anything else. I had my old lucky " Nifty at 50" socks on for the Bristol Rovers game, but took them off just before the England v Wales rugby game. Wish I'd left them on.

Playing cricket, my left pad goes on first. Which of course, doesn't make a blind bit of difference. However, I did bat with mismatched gloves once last year, and made my top score of the season. So I may have to introduce that one...

Hi Rubi,
Brought them with me from Wales but forgot to put them on. The defeat is my fault.

I had a pair of wonderfully lucky white socks to go with my lucky white pants in the 2002-3 season, but sadly they wore out and I've never been able to replace them.
