It's no wonder we're decimating the Brazilian rain forests if the available technology is as frighteningly efficient as that.

Let's hope the particular forest shown in this clip is sustainable.
Stop looking for solutions to symptoms and start identifying the disease.

Looks spookily like the acreage behind our house - 40 acres of trees taken out in a few days a few years ago. They had to leave a line of firs near the bluffs as a wind break. Problem is no one can afford to buy there so apart from one house, the area is a wasteland.

I may not be a tree hugger, but a lot of wildlife went from that land and now we only have a couple of bears there.
