The Rio Druglympics
Can't say I shall even take a passing interest this year....especially if the cheating Russkis are allowed in. I mean really....every nation has the occasional individual cheat but cheating on a national level is a new low. Also can't believe the powers that be haven't busted up on any Chinese female swimmers, all of whom appear to be built like Shrek with fins.
And again....at the risk of repeating myself....ffs jail cheating athletes....they are stealing monies and endorsements from legit contenders.

Hopefully cleaner than the Bay they're sailing in, if the environmental report is to be believed.

I wouldn't say she was that small.
Since the Snooze aren't entirely certain, is she Nicola or Nicole?

Is being small an advantage in sailing? ...I'm guessing less weight in the boat helpsCoshamScouse wrote:Nicola.

Not necessarily true. Boats will capsize without sufficient ballast to counter the wind in the sail, or to ride too high on the wave. The Cincinnati Kid wrote:Is being small an advantage in sailing? ...I'm guessing less weight in the boat helpsCoshamScouse wrote:Nicola.

At the end of the war, American supply ships returning to the US had to load up with debris and rubble from Luftwaffe bombings to safely make the journey back across the Atlantic. There's a massive landfill spot in New York, made up almost entirely of bombed out Bristol.

Found it : 23rd to 34th St in NYC, and is now FDR Drive, aka The Bristol Basin. The Cincinnati Kid wrote:Interesting....Having been to Bristol I thought they had left the rubble in placeWeybridge wrote:Not necessarily true. Re: The Rio Druglympics
Good to se the powers that be are sticking to not letting the Cheating Russians in the Olympics. These clowns have been state doping since the cold war and are still trying to shift responsibility to the athletes and away from the State. I wouldn't let them back until there is some sort of admission from the state on their part in doping and cheating for 1/2 century.....and don't bend on Sharapova either.

I wouldn't say it's a "new" low. Pretty much every commie country did it when I was a kid. China have been doing it for years too. The west is just way behind, apart from the odd yank here and there

Re: The Rio Druglympics
Well....the report on Russki cheating is out......how sad....hard to imagine any other country ...even China...cheating on such a massive national scale.
