Re: New Everton manager
To be fair, he is going to a much bigger club... It seems like a straightforward step up in his career.
If there's more money, great!
Consider all that footage of happy people on cruise ships as they depart the dockside. Happy because they're going on a cruise but particularly happy because they're leaving Southampton. No one ever films the miserable faces as they peer over the railings on returning to the place...
Just a thought...

Re: New Everton manager
To be fair to him, you are probably right. He knows there will be another mass exodus of players by the start of next season. Everton probably won't have the same problem and (by the sound of things) will back him financially. Plus, after last night's game, no-one is going to try and buy Lukaku, unlike Pelle. And as you say, another few quid in the wage packet is probably just a bonus.Milkins wrote:To be fair, he is going to a much bigger club... It seems like a straightforward step up in his career.

Chuckle. Mind you, I think the Titanic were taking things a bit far on that issue.Milkins wrote:Consider all that footage of happy people on cruise ships as they depart the dockside.
