Just 12% of the tickets have been sold so far, according to the organisers.

A question for our colonial brethren : Has interest in the Paralympics stepped up at all? Last time around in London, there was still some concern it was being snubbed in the US?
tbh I cant say I, nor anyone else I know has shown any interest. A few feel good stories in the media and I 'm sure host nations rack better coverage. It'll be on tv here somewhere.
Does this carry any interest anywhere...outside of the disabled community and families etc?

Lets face it....99% of us pay little attention to able bodied field athletics / swimming / etc for 3 yrs 11 months

Now...show me a guy in a wheelchair rolling down a ski ramp to jump 12 flaming school buses and I'm all in!
Div III. Call it what it is.

You aren't the only one to be thinking along those lines.

BTW, The Trott / Kenny household was last night higher in the medal table than Spain and Canada.

If Laura Trott was my mrs the medal table wouldn't be looking so healthy. I'd never let her out the bedroom.
