Rio Paralympics.

Just 12% of the tickets have been sold so far, according to the organisers.

A question for our colonial brethren : Has interest in the Paralympics stepped up at all? Last time around in London, there was still some concern it was being snubbed in the US?

tbh I cant say I, nor anyone else I know has shown any interest. A few feel good stories in the media and I 'm sure host nations rack better coverage. It'll be on tv here somewhere.
Does this carry any interest anywhere...outside of the disabled community and families etc?

Lets face it....99% of us pay little attention to able bodied field athletics / swimming / etc for 3 yrs 11 months

SPOTY: Joint winners Laura Trott & Jason Kenny - 10 gold medals for the mantlepiece at home. Dame and knighthoods to follow. Just feel sorry for any kids having to live up to that parentage!
