The FA's lucky day

Post by Mickemo »

Hopefully the FA will come to their senses and get rid of Allardyce - he shouldn't have been appointed in the first place !

Whatever happened to the days when the England Football Manager managed the England Football team and that was it. Someone like Sam who is a football man through and through shouldn't be doing chats and corporate stuff like this. He should be spending his time watching players and plotting our next international match and how he can make it a better performance than last time.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!

Adding to Rumour monger's comments....

Wasn't the idea to be that the England manager would work closely with the Premiership teams and build a closer bond, so that the players picked would have similar roles to those they utilize when playing for the clubs? The EM would then be able to build a squad built for playing to a system, rather than picking the same old players because they are 'fan favorites'.
