Danny Willett's brother in National Golfer magazine...
Its game on!
'Team Europe needs to shut those groupies up.
They need to silence the pudgy, basement-dwelling, irritants, stuffed on cookie dough and pissy beer, pausing between mouthfuls of hotdog so they can scream ‘Baba booey’ until their jelly faces turn red.
They need to stun the angry, unwashed, Make America Great Again swarm, desperately gripping their concealed-carry compensators and belting out a mini-erection inducing ‘mashed potato,’ hoping to impress their cousin.
They need to smash the obnoxious dads, with their shiny teeth, Lego man hair, medicated ex-wives, and resentful children. Squeezed into their cargo shorts and boating shoes, they’ll bellow ‘get in the hole’ whilst high-fiving all the other members of the Dentists’ Big Game Hunt Society.
Team Europe need to silence these cretins quickly.'
"Look, we've all got something to contribute to this discussion. And I think what you should contribute from now on is silence."
One way traffic in the end. I had a few quid on 16.5 -12.5, which looked good value for a while, but that was master putting from the Septics to ratchet up the score.
At least a US win livens up 2018 now. The Ryder Cup is brilliant to watch, but the shine does get taken off when it gets one-sided for too long.

Well deserved win for the Americans, some of the golf played by both sides was amazing, Mickelson shooting 10 under for the singles is a hell an achievement and for Garcia to end up all square with him was equally impressive. In all the players from both sides conducted themselves well, some instances where things got a bit excitable but all in all well conducted.
The crowd, well, the large majority were very sporting and good humoured but there is that minority in the American crowd again i am afraid that were absolute arses and had no decorum what so ever, such a shame as it is completely unnecessary and goes against the spirit of the game.
All in all a thoroughly entertaining weekend of golf.
