Who has home field advantage.... Polar Bears can win on ice, but would struggle in wooded vegetation. In addition, Polar Bears aren't used to too much competition.... a walrus or sea lion is hardly a fair match....thus, a Polar Bear isn't used to proper opposition (think USA football when they think Panama, Dutch Antilles or Haiti are proper opponents - then they meet Germany, Spain etc... in proper competition).pompeygunner wrote:Size matters. Territory is a worthy point. I wonder if wembely or the London stadium would be interested in hosting the fight?

Re: What would....
This got me thinking, what sort of competition does a grizzly have? Would have thought it would be pretty much atop any food chain, and can't think of much else that would bother to go near it... Packs of wolves? Cougars? Coyotes? Bigfoot? Hockey Moms with a gun licence?uspompeyfan wrote:Who has home field advantage.... Polar Bears can win on ice, but would struggle in wooded vegetation. Re: What would....
Grizzlies keep to themselves for the most part. We had a family of them back in the deep woods behind our house. In 10 years at that house we saw them a few times in the distance, but saw their poop a lot more. Beautiful animals and definitely not ones to go close to.
