Tennis
Djokovic out. Wide open for Murray..... trouble is..... his half of the draw is hard. Potential QF v Nishikori. SF v Wawrinka.
The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone else is trying to make you be somebody else

Re: Tennis
Hard yes, but you don't win grand slams / stay world number 1 by only beating unseeded qualifiers.
That would be a bit like winning the FA Cup and only having to play one game against premier league opposition...

Was the "Brummie" part to remind us that we can all like him because he's English, or merely a regional patriotism from the Brummie resident?Lost in Transportation wrote:Brummie Dan Evans beat the Aussie Tomic in straight sets to join Murray in the 4th round. Well played sir.

Re: Tennis
Thats why I used 'potential' . Of course having named Wawrinka I must now include Evans. It ain't getting any easier for Sir Andrew.pompey24 wrote:or Roger Federer if he beats Nishikoribrian lewis wrote:Djokovic out. Wide open for Murray..... trouble is..... his half of the draw is hard. Partly regional pride. I will be calling him British when he loses though...Locky_McLockface wrote:Was the "Brummie" part to remind us that we can all like him because he's English, or merely a regional patriotism from the Brummie resident?Lost in Transportation wrote:Brummie Dan Evans beat the Aussie Tomic in straight sets to join Murray in the 4th round.
