Morecambe FC and Cala Corporation
As some of you may be aware Morecambe FC was put up for sale a few months ago.
The club are now in the process of being purchased by Joseph Cala much to the concern of a majority of the clubs fans.
I understand that your club have had experience of an attempted buy out by Mr Cala and it would be interesting to hear of your thoughts about the gentleman as a person to be trusted in being able to provide the necessary finances to ensure the survival of Morecambe FC.

Cala has no recognisable money sources so anything going into your club would likely be money he has borrowed from elsewhere.cumbria red wrote:I understand that your club have had experience of an attempted buy out by Mr Cala
Its also very dubious that he was ever in the process of buying Pompey. As soon as a credible administrator got control of the club, the likes of Cala disappeared. If he had money he claimed to the press then a deal could have been done. Personally think he was a useful idiot.

Cumbria Red, I wish your club every success in finding a credible buyer. Joseph Cala does not fall into that category.
The aforementioned "credible administrator" Trevor Birch was last heard of in a role at Bolton Wanderers, he may, in an off-the-record way, provide more background info. Got to be worth a shout.

Morecambe is making Pompey travails look straightforward.
