Re: EoIn Doyle
I believe this will be a great bit of business that would not have happened if Cook was not our manager. So, he has got us a proven striker and a proper right back. Hopefully, this will keep the moaners quiet, for a while at least.

Re: EoIn Doyle
I hope you are right SB I really do...
Whilst at face value EH looks a good signing I have a nagging doubt about PC and his preference to sign players who have played under him at his previous clubs, as I said I really hope EH works out for us & he fires us to promotion.

I hate the phrase 'proven striker' but I guess thats exactly what he is - 1 in 2 at this level while leading the line. Thats what we've been asking for.Mickemo wrote:I hope you are right SB I really do...

It has my vote - At least it freshens things up a bit and will give us a different look .

Roberts.

Other than that who are all these players to have played under Cook before? It gets trotted out time and time again but it isn't actually true.

He had Rommy BoCo at Sligo and Accy plus Amine Lingazi at Accy so that is a couple more.Pompey1985 wrote:Talbot.Mickemo wrote:I hope you are right SB I really do...

Also had Craig Westward and Caolan Lavery at Chesterfield where he also tried BoCo again. He has signed and let go BoCo at 4 clubs!

And Carl Baker at Southport. Looking like there is a fair amount of truth in it.

Re: EoIn Doyle
Boco was a squad player.
Lavery was on loan and good.
I don't know who Craig Westward is, if you mean Westcarr he got shot of him didn't sign him.
I was under the impression Lingazi was at Accy under Leam not cook.
Loads of managers have their trusted players.

Just pointing out the players number somewhat more than 3.
