And look at the stats too

Possession Home 59% Away 41%
Shots Home 22 Away 3
Shots on Target Home 8 Away 1
Corners Home 4 Away 5
Fouls Home 5 Away 8

22 shots and 8 on target. We couldn't muster a single shot on target just over a week ago! I wouldn't like to be a cow's **** now we've found out how to use that banjo. A great time to find form and good to see our next opponents' bubble burst tonight too.

Yes, suddenly all looks very promising, but remember that things can just as suddenly turn again. What this division has shown all season is that anyone can beat anyone.

Brilliant game. Baker was massive. Whole team good (after the opening ten mins when Grimsby hit the bar). My first attendance of the season well rewarded!

Couldn't have hoped for better results, apart from a Plymouth loss, but beggars can't be choosers.

Good performance and one unwritten fact....... Mathematically, today's result means we cannot get relegated!!!!!

That's the Pompey and Fratton Park we all love, all round excellent performance from all players and if PC needs any evidence on what makes this club/city tick, look no further than this evening.

And no moaning or booing of those players who some sections seem to target.

What's more it was us getting the cheap free kicks and dubious fouls....well, all except an atrocious decision by the lino doing the Northern side in the first half. He couldn't have been any closer to it because the Grimsby player nearly knocked him over but it was defo our throw.

Seems like I'm going to have to do the fixtures nickname-style again on Saturday.....juuuust in case it's bringing us luck.
