Well you got the number of goals right, Mr The Kid!

That free kick for the skirt-wearers was an embarrassment.

Still, gave England something to do in the last few minutes.

Really...time for Mr Hart to move on.
Still, in some ways, stealing the Jocks dream with the last kick of the game is almost better than a sound football lesson

What a joke!! Is it not allowed to have a man stand inside each post to reduce the target? The wall as it was was patently too wide and badly placed, there seems to be far too much desire for and reliance on a wonder save from goalie. The defending is too static, why not have players further back to run across the line of fire during the strikers run up (not of course within ten yards oops metres) keepers need more support!
Just a my uneducated thoughts...

I suppose its the just the fear of immediately playing everyone onside. If the ball rebounds off the wall (the most common outcome), the wall will push up, forcing the attackers out as well. But you cant do that if you've got men on the posts, they've got an extra 10-15 yards to make up.

Equally entertaining match this Sunday morning, 11th June at 11.45 am LIVE on BBC 2

World Cup Under 20 Final - England against Venezuela in South Korea - Venezuela 0 - England 1 at half time.

Some real skill from both teams.
