Pompey Fixtures 2017-18

Post by Pompey Penguin »

Happy Fixtures Day!

Fixtures for next season are due to be announced at 09:00 this morning, but they will probably be a bit late. Blackpool, Wigan, Fleetwood, Rochdale and Bury are on my "to be ticked" list, so hoping that a couple of those away games will be Saturdays outside the dead of winter.

Anybody else fancy Wigan at home to start the season?

Not too bad. I am not driving to Wigan on a Bank Holiday weekend, or Fleetwood in January. However, Blackpool in early November is doable, and Rochdale and/or Bury in April are ideal.

Go here on your phone:

and click on Add to calendar

This has automatically added the fixtures for the season, and kept up to date for the previous 2 or 3 seasons. Nice.
Its such a fine line between stupid and clever.

7 games in September is a busy month.
Not sure if any cup games get added to that.

Yes....very nice. Invaluable reference for planning Saturdays because it's kept up to date.
