Kevin Dillon - not a manager

Post by Pompey Penguin »

Not about Pompey, but an interesting piece on the difficulties of finding work in football focussing on Kevin Dillon. I feel sorry for all those who don't get a second chance, whilst some people get an endless stream of jobs in which they are mediocre to useless.

Good article. I guess the downer here is if you count all the pro clubs in England & Scotland and multiply by 2 for Manager and Ass.. Man(snigger).....then subtract jobs he's not going to get (like Arsenal).....he's picked a career with less than 200 nationwide opportunities and a lot of hopefuls chasing the 60 odd yearly vacancies.
Maybe we'll see him down here if KJ doesn't cut the mustard
Div III. Call it what it is.

Kevin Dillon was my boyhood hero, lived round the corner from my Grandparents on Hayling Island and was a gent. Sounds like he's put in all the work but not getting the breaks, hopefully it'll work out for him soon.
