Not very classy.....
So, Mark Trapani tweeted that the takeover deal will complete tomorrow (Thursday).
If I was Mr E I'd be rather miffed at Mr T, who, as a Board Member is bound by the terms of a confidentiality agreement between the Club and the soon-to-be new Owners.
Neither ME or EE have made any mention on their Twitter accounts that the deal will be done tomorrow, so I hope that MT hasn't jumped the gun!!
Either way, not a very classy way to deal with matters IMO.

It might be a deliberate and Eisner-sanctioned leak. Outside of Pompey its not going to be huge football news and certainly given no more than a day's coverage, so could quite easily slip under the radar. This is just helping make sure people are facing in the right direction when the news breaks.MontyDog wrote:So, Mark Trapani tweeted that the takeover deal will complete tomorrow (Thursday).

Watching wheels spin and dust settle.

Does sound like MT was seeking a bit of glory by being the first to give the news out.
I wonder if ME will deliberately delay things another day to make him look silly?

Re: Not very classy.....
Do I recall correctly that Mark Trapani is anti-takeover?
If so, it strikes me that this was a rather petulant way of spoiling Eisner's show.

Well, it's done now, and I for one am delighted.
To all of us who stepped up to the plate in our Club's hour of need..... we have every right to feel proud of what we achieved.
To Mr E and his Family....welcome. Thus far you have shown yourselves to be men of dignity, and have acted professionally throughout.
I for one believe that in the years to come, you will be seen as worthy Custodians of our great Club.
.......now let's go and stuff Rochdale on Saturday!!!
