Yay! She's done well for Pompey in the past so a slip of the pen here, a few million there and bingo.....a new stadium and a decent defensive midfielder!eltorrro wrote:Promoted to International Development Secretary. Well done her and she's got £13bn at her disposal!!!

Female Mick Huckanall. Funny.
I have the same feeling for Claudia Winkleman.

Re: Penny Mordaunt
She is a great local MP, very good for Royal Navy issues, often makes effort to attend or write and endorse local community ventures, including sports events.
As a person, I don't know, I am sure she is a Member of Parliament so exactly what sort of person that tends to create.
She has a mixed track record on voting on certain issues, but then she is a female in a male dominated industry, in a government of mediocre men led by a woman only marginally more talented than that.

Let's hope she doesn't just dive in...

Not of my political persuasion, but Penny Mordaunt appears to do a good job without creating too much drama. Leadership squabbles and Brexit fallouts have led to a culling of talent on both sides of the house, and we could do with an injection of honest, competent and not-a-sexual-predator (the bar is not very high!). Good luck to her.

Didn't she use a parliamentary speech to win a bet? Something about using the word cock?

I'm not one of her constituents & of her political persuasion. Have to say for me anyone who voted to reduce the state benefit whilst filing iirc 180k worth of expenses-well what can I say. Not a fan tbh.

Here she is pre-referendum lying about the UK's ability to veto countries joining the EU: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/po ... 41956.htmlPompey Penguin wrote:Not of my political persuasion, but Penny Mordaunt appears to do a good job without creating too much drama.
Yeah, her voting record on welfare looks pretty appalling tbh.pompeygunner wrote:I'm not one of her constituents & of her political persuasion. Have to say for me anyone who voted to reduce the state benefit whilst filing iirc 180k worth of expenses-well what can I say. Not a fan tbh.
