Re: Twitchy back at St Marys
I actually feel bad for the stipys. They seem to exist to make monies for the owners. Brilliant at developing youff and brilliant at European scouting they then sell their best to the usual suspects in the prem for large wads and don't spend to replace.
It was bound to catch up with them eventually and they have done so well to survive in the prem this long.....but they aint a million miles from being named ArsenalLiverpoolUtd Reserves. No idea what the stripy boards say but I'd be mighty hacked if I was a ST Holder.
The sale of wotsisname to Liverpool was a bit criminal imo.
1 win in 17 games.....zikes.

Also David Moyes and maybe Paul Lambert....Lambert would be good....with only 8 games left you only need a loud angry scary scotsman to light a fire under yer arris for a few games.

Hughes wouldn't be my choice but at least he has some passion and better than Pellegrino , mind you even Jackett would be better than him.
Chin up the play offs aren't totally out of sight.

Hughes it is then - until the end of the season according to this morning's news.

This bloke is the picture boy for the managerial merryrgoround.
He's been bl**dy awful everywhere with the exception of his 1st club job at Blackburn.
Ironically as a player he was at his worst for Saints with a whopping 2 goals in 61 apps.

Winning% / win more games than you lose / winning % over 40%....taking account of who you manage.Mickemo wrote:define awful !?
Take away Blackburn and he's around 400 games played 140W 100D 150L
Harry was 560W 490L with a similar-ish club resume 40.2%
Chris Houghton 170 W 120L ....42.9%
Kenny i'll get my Jackett 309W 227L.....43.2%
Even giving Sparky the good times at Blackburn hes 220W 210l 38.3%
