Winter Break
The powers that be have agreed in principle to a winter break, pencilled in for Jan/Feb 2020.
Should help get over those cancellations due to frozen pitches I suppose.

And those games will have to be shoehorned in elsewhere so the players will be more tired if anything due to playing more games in shorter time. They just need to man up

Re: Winter Break
Yeah.....2 week staggered break so there will still be prem games every weekend....that makes sense.
Don't like the backroom deal on no replays for the FA Cup 5th round though. That's a negative for Divisions 2 thru 4.
Also, why are we still playing the Nobody Cares League Cup? or whatever its named these days?....At least exempt any club in Euro footy tourneys.

Re: Winter Break
So basically they want to give the players a little break so we perform better in major tournaments, but they are happy to concede that some games will still be played but staggered, all because of TV money.
I really cant see a two week break turning our national team into world beaters....
Why do they feel the need to meddle ?
