Possible signings
It seems that we are still looking for signings. I am not really into social media. Any thoughts or names being bandied around?

Re: Possible signings
Two seasons ago I was a big fan of Omar Bogle: big, mobile forward with some pace and technical ability. He got a £1m plus move to Wigan after half a season at Grimsby and scored goals in the Championship with Wigan before they were relegated. A manager, called Paul Cook arrived and didn't take to him so shipped him off to Cardiff and from there he was loaned out (forget where) for the 2nd half of last season and apparently didn't play well and had a bit of an attitude.
if he has an attitude issue then I wouldn't consider him - if he has a positive attitude then I think he could be a really good loan option for Pompey as a true no.9
Cardiff are not going to put him in their premier league squad so he need to be loaned out to get games.
I am hoping too that Pompey get Longstaff or similar central attacking player on loan, but that does not need to be done before Thursday's deadline for permanent transfers

Re: Possible signings
Cross Bogle off the list. He joined Birmingham City on loan yesterday.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!
