Specialist sub

I'm sad to see Chaplin leave but understand it and think that to get £500K for a reserve League One striker in his last year of contract is great business.
But it's got me thinking, what if his best role is impact sub and instead of trying to be something he's not then why not develop yourself into a specialist? To have someone who has perfected the role of entering the game with 15 mins to go and changing the game would be a major asset to any team. You would re-brand the image of substitute forever and suddenly make it a desirable role.
